Bad experience at the front desk with an unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Amenities were average and just satisfactory.
Proximity to amenities
The staff at the front desk was arrogant and unfriendly. We arrived at around 12:00 pm and tried to check in early. We were told that we have to check in no earlier than 2:00 pm. We came back at 2:40 pm and the same guy insisted that check in would be at 3:00 pm and that we were told previously that it was the case. We waited at the front desk and at 3:00 pm that the rooms were still being cleaned. We finally were able to check in at 3:20 pm. No TV remote control was in the room and despite talking to the front desk 5 times, no TV remote control was sent. I went to the front desk at 8:20 pm and the front desk person I was previously dealing with had left. A lady replaced him and was very helpful, getting a TV remote control from a drawer, replaced the batteries and gave it to me! I found out that all the while, there were remotes available but the front desk person just didn’t provide on to me!!

Not very happy. We wouldn’t stay here again
The bathroom was nice and clean with quality toiletries provided
The balcony was a joke. You couldn’t even call it a balcony. We were expecting a balcony the same as was shown in the photos, however this “balcony” was tiny. No room for chairs or a table. Very disappointing. Also the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back. The floors were really dirty, they clearly hadn’t been vacuumed

I like that Mantra offers a lower cost room at a great location. Staff at reception are top notch.
